Commemorating Queen Elizabeth

To commemorate the incredible life of Queen Elizabeth II, an Australian public holiday has been declared today as a National Day of Mourning.

What I have found astonishing is the backlash from some industries complaining about the short notice given.

The single most important message COVID had taught us is to always expect the unexpected. Otherwise, you will struggle to make your business survive.

Set your organisation up to be able to respond to change over following a plan.

Rank your important activities and make sure you are clear on what capacity is needed to achieve them.

This will also give you a basis for comparison when a change arrives unexpectedly.

The Queens' life is certainly one worth celebrating, so enjoy the public holiday and being part of this historical event.
