Encouragement with Queen

Did you know I am a massive Queen fan? Most people didn't. One of the reasons I like them so much is that their music is so upbeat and positive – you'll be hard-pressed to find a negative song in their repertoire (except for maybe their biggest hit Bohemian Rhapsody). Scientists did a study of the song "We Are The Champions" and concluded that it was the catchiest song in the history of pop music. "We've discovered that there's a science behind the sing-along and a special combination of neuroscience, math and cognitive psychology that can produce the elusive elixir of the perfect sing-along song." So no wonder it is heard in stadiums all around the world. Listen to the lyrics - this song encourages you to celebrate your failures, pick yourself up, and come through! "And bad mistakes, I've made a few, I've had my share of sand kicked in my face. But I've come through" So, hum this song to yourself through every small win. Heck, even sing it to yourself when you lose! We don't celebrate ourselves enough. Failure = growth and learning opportunities, which is always something to call home about. So next time you screw up, blast some Queen and find the lesson within it.
